Toys and tummy time!

Sorry y'all...it's been two weeks since we last updated - and it seems like lots been happening since then!  We've been keeping busy now that Rowyn is getting more and more alert, but life is still going great with the Devine's.  We had a postponed baby shower, which helped us get some new toys and a swing... thanks to all who came out in the rain!  We also had our first outing at a restaurant...trying to get back to our normal lives.

Here are some things that Rowyn is doing now:

- Rowyn is now over 10lbs!  Whoa, whatta chunk :)
- She's taking 4 oz. of her bottle, every 3 - 4 hours during the day and longer at night
 - Sleeping about 6 hours every night!  This is great since she's weighing a little more, she's able to hold off longer on her night-time feedings allowing us to get some much needed rest
- She takes 1 - 2 naps during the day, lasting anywhere between 1- 3 hours
- She's sleeping on her belly more, although not all the time.  She sleeps "like a baby" on a wedge so her head is elevated - so cute!
- She's playing a lot with new toys!  She has a play gym she plays on every day and kicks her little legs constantly - she's gonna be a mover and shaker for sure, and she plays in her pack-n-play, too!
- We finally got her a swing and a mobile for her crib and she LOVES them both!
- She stares up at the mobile and smiles at it as it plays music
- She is "social smiling" a lot more : )  Chris smiled this morning, and she quickly looked at him and smiled right back - so, so sweet.
- She is still tracking toys with her eyes, and can even hold a rattle for about 30 seconds (although she doesn't know she's doing it!)
- She's making little coo noises and it's so cute - it's like she's in the early phases of talking...
- Her new swing plays music and moves all around--she seems so happy in it!

The weather was great last weekend, so we headed out to a patio at a mexican restaurant.  Rowyn was a bit fussy before and during dinner, so we barely spoke to each other during the meal.  I ate and held her while she fussed.  We got the check, paid and then she fell asleep - of course :)  We stayed for another 20 minutes to have adult conversation, then we headed home.  It was nice to get out with her, and know that we survived!  We also look her to the greenline (walking/running/biking path) and had a nice long ride in her stroller.   It even got a little hot!

Much different weather this weekend - it's cold and rainy, so we're spending the weekend in, watching March madness and having play time!  Next weekend, we're head to Tuscaloosa, AL to visit Chris' family for Easter...FIRST road trip - wish us luck!

Until then....here's some more cute pictures!
