No more IV!

They finally were able to take out Rowyn's IV, which is great news! So she's totally on mothers milk now. They said her bilirubin level is at about an 8, but I always thought that they had to get down to 0 to be "normal". Nope, they just have to be below 7, so Ro's almost there. They took away the light pad and one of the overhead lights earlier today, but they kept the third to knock the rest of the bilirubin out. They should be done dealing with it tomorrow. She's back on breast milk instead of formula and they've increased her feeding amounts to 31cc. Things are looking great for her. She still weighs 3lb 10oz. Now that Rowyn is off of the IV, we should be able to take her out of the incubator more often to hold her. Katie is going to try more "kangaroo" care tomorrow (skin on skin interaction). Things are good right now and today has been a really good day for Rowyn (and us!)
