Rowyn is 9.5 months now and coming right along. Although she's still comfy in her 6 month outfits, here are her current stats as of her 9 mo. appt a couple of weeks ago:
- Weighing in at 16.5 lbs
- Measuring up at 25.5 inches
- She has 2 teeth and more on the way (one on bottom; one on top)
- She's the closest you can get to crawling without actually crawling! She gets on her hands and knees and rocks back and forth, so much that she gets herself back on her bottom in sitting position - talented girl :)
- She's eating all sorts of baby foods now - bananas, sweet potatoes, prunes as well as her bottles and she loves those gerber puffs that end up stuck to her clothes and the floor...
- She's babbling lots in the morning and also plays quietly throughout the day
- She LOVES our dog Logan and LOL's (yes, lols) when he comes into the room. Too bad Logan doesn't really 'get' the baby thing...
- Her favorite toys are her stacking cups and rings, which she bangs together and throws them everywhere and her first laptop - ha! from Granna
- She sleeps pretty well at night, but occasionally cries in the night (teething troubles!). She naps a couple times a day, each time for only about 20 minutes!
- We're still getting outside everyday! We swing on the porch swing and take walks in strollers. Almost always a guaranteed nap if we do the stroller :)
